Plan Now to Stuff the Bus!

Stuff the Bus 2015 Poster

Partners In Education, the education foundation for Craven County Schools, and Craven County Schools, are providing an opportunity for our community to donate school supplies for our students in need. Stuff the Bus will take place Saturday, August 15, 2015, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at the Walmart Stores in New Bern (3105 Dr. M.L. King, Jr., Blvd., and 2915 Neuse Blvd.) and Havelock (566 U.S. 70).

There will be a Craven County Schools bus parked in front of all three Craven County Walmart Store locations and we need your help with filling up the buses with school supplies: Paper, pencils, markers, crayons, erasers, glue sticks, tissues, and hand sanitizer are some of the items needed. A shopping list will be available the day of the event, and is currently available by following this link.

Last year, through the generosity of our community, Partners In Education was able to assist over 450 students. Based on this success, Partners In Education is recruiting the help of all our community partners so that we are able reach more students this year.

Many sponsors have agreed to be drop-off locations, and will collect items until Wednesday, August 12.

They are -

in Havelock: Havelock Chamber of Commerce, 201 Tourist Center Drive;

in New Bern: BB&T at 375 S. Front Street; Century 21 Zaytoun-Raines at 312 S. Front St.; Wells Fargo at 401 S. Front St., and Joe Alcoke Auto & Truck Service at 3405 Dr. M.L. King, Jr., Blvd.
